Discover America provides international friends a warm opportunity to 'taste & see' life in the USA and develop lifelong cross cultural friendships. Participants visit American homes and interact with families in the community on topics like : Cultural Do's & Don'ts, American Holidays, and Family Life. D.A groups typically have 7-10 members and meet once a week for 4 weeks at the beginning of each semester. |

Fall 2008 DA Groups This fall semester we will be organizing DA groups that start on the first weekend in September. The groups will be on : - Friday evenings (starting Sept. 5th).
- Saturday afternoons (starting Sept. 6th).
- Sunday afternoons (starting Sept. 7th).
Each group of about 15 members will meet once a week for 4 weeks and have a great time learning about American culture while making deep friendships. The DA groups fill up quickly so if you are interested please sign up before they close. |

Monthly MomentsIn conjunction with Discover America & LIFE Groups, Monthly-Moments are organized as a point of contact for old & new friends to meet & mingle. Take a look at our year! Make a memory... make a 'smore'... make a friend and more!!!
Other events next year include: Cultural Celebrations (ie. Chinese New Year)\ Here Comes the Bride (a pretend American wedding)
Spring Games, Spring Break Trips (skiing, etc.)
Regional ISFM Easter Retreat, Progressive Dinners Graduation Banquet, Christian Int'l Student Conference Pool Parties, Fourth of July Fireworks & BBQ |
